Another Haul + Oct giveaways

Another haul over the past weeks or so =D. Nothing too expensive, a bit about it: I bought my first skinfood product! It's Skinfood's honey & royal jelly firming eye cream, I hope it's good but I really like the packaging already. haha
The Shiseido Men's product is the Anti-shine refresher matifying gel, according to the Sales assistant it's the same using this one even though it says it's for men. lol
The Cyber colours toner's my sister's but she's letting me use it too for my reviews xD, and a Sukin cream cleanser which Ning asked me about this brand. It sounds really interesting because it's all organic and paraben free, made in Australia and not tested on animals. Apparently it removes makeup as well according to the bottle descriptions.

And a new pair of slippers to replace my old ripping silver ones. =P yay!!
Oki shoes

Missha SUPER AQUA Hydrating Toner and Emulsion Review

Unfortunately the SUPER AQUA samples bottles were tiny so the Toner only lasted about a week (Once a day at night only). All the details at the back were all in Korean (wasn’t much text anyway...) so I can’t provide much details or ingredients. Only took what was noted online and there wasn’t anything in detail. =/
Missha Super Aqua Hydrating Range Samples

SUPER AQUA Hydrating Toner (For Normal to Dry Skin)
ALCOHOL FREE hydrating toner maintains moisture balance. It provides moisture to dry skin and prepares the skin for moisturisation.

The Toner is in a clear watery liquid with a light fresh fragrance that’s the same as the Hydrating Emulsion. It’s non greasy and leaves the skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

This hydrating toner hydrates very well, leaving it fresh and dry. It did not make my skin feel tight and dry even after I left it without using any moisturisers for about 15min. I also noticed my skin was less oily the next morning from using this. I personally found it great for hydrating and it's alcohol free.

Side note, there wasn't enough in the sample bottle and most of it gets absorbed and dried up by the cotton pad. So I didn't get to use it for a longer period of time to judge it's results properly. Mainly the first thing I noticed was my skin feel a lot more hydrated and produced less oil especially overnight. As much as I liked the hydrating factor, personally I feel there's better alternatives and I doubt this. =P

~Now onto the Emulsion.~

SUPER AQUA Hydrating Emulsion (For Normal to Dry Skin)
This moisturizing emulsion contains Crystal Water for deep hydration. Adding luster and smoothness to the skin and maintaining the skins healthy pH levels.

Directions: After using deep hydro essence, apply and appropriate amount onto the face. Tap lightly until fully absorbed.

Super Aqua Hydrating Emulsion swatch

The texture is a very light thin white lotion; you only need a small amount to cover the whole face. It’s non greasy, does not leave the skin looking shiny and spreads very easily. There’s a light fresh scent (same scent as the toner) and leaves the skin feeling moist and smooth. It also absorbs very quickly and is dry to touch.

At first I really like this, my skin still felt hydrated overnight any without other creams/lotions/serums; there was no oily T-zones or dry cheeks! The only down side is that it doesn’t do anything else but hydrate, so if you want other things like whitening or anti-aging then you do need to use other products. Unfortunately I don’t have the actually full size bottle with packaging, so I don’t know what’s actually in the product. If you get a chance to try it out in their sample bottle. It’s so hard to get anything out of that sample bottle =P lol.

However, when I first used this it didn’t appear to block my pores but after about 1 and a half weeks I did notice break outs here and there. Although I’m not sure if it’s this Emulsion that’s causing it since I don’t use a lot at once or the bad combination of emulsion, sunscreen and foundation. I stopped using it straight away and it’s been a lot better. I might give it a try some other time, but this isn’t something I would the full size for. I’m so glad I got to try the sample first otherwise I don’t know what I’ll do with the full bottle if I didn’t like it.

SUPER AQUA Anti-Trouble Formula Control Toner info

Missha's SUPER AQUA Anti-Trouble Formula Control Toner comes in a 150mL pale clear glass bottle with a plastic lid. The liquid is a clear, with a white sebum powder that settles at the bottom. The sebum absorbing powder is meant to control the excessive oil released from the skin, keeping the skin's moisture-oil balanced. The toner has a low fragrance with a slight alcohol scent.

When you use it, you are meant to shake the bottle to mix the powder with the liquid. I’ve followed the instruction and use it without shaking for my cheeks, then mixing it for the T-zone area.
SUPER AQUA Anti-Trouble Formula Control Toner Sebum

After using it for more than a month, I’ve noticed it does not do much for controlling skin troubles like ance, pimples or dull complexion. I’m not sure about reducing the redness of my skin because firstly it goes red because of the heat and second if it’s irritated which it hasn’t been. It does make your skin feels smooth and clear. The oil control and hydration factor is ok, although it doesn’t hydrate as well if you compare it to Missha’s SUPER AQUA Hydrating Toner.

I did not irritate my skin or cause new break outs, at the same time I didn’t feel very impressed by it either. Overall it’s an ok toner, I wasn’t disappointed at the results but I wouldn’t say I love it either, nor will this product make me buy it again. If I was to compare it with Clinique's Clarifying Lotion even though the two does very different things, I like Clinique's Clarifying Lotion better.

On the note of packaging, it’s pretty good. I like the glass bottle with its the simple but sleek size and shape. It also had a security cap you have to take off when it’s new. It also feels very comfortable on the hand to use with a good weight to it. Much better than the plastic bottles and lid of Clinique’s.
SUPER AQUA Anti-Trouble Formula Control Toner

I haven’t tried too many of Missha’s skin care ranges, but so far I have not found any of them to be too impressive, other than the impressively long names. lol . I would love to hear what you all thought about it, because I have read some good reviews on its face masks etc. Which ones did you like?

Prorance Auto Shining Pencil Swatch

Prorance Cosmetics is a Korean brand found in March 2000, that aims to fuse functionality with style. It’s developed nearly 700 products and by 2006 began exporting its products to about 20 Nations worldwide.

Official Site: http://www.prorance.co.kr

I’ve never seen this brand before prior to this eyeliner, nor have I tried its other products. So I’m not sure if it’s popular or good in Korean. It does look quite interesting with its simplistic packaging. Here’s a swatch of their Auto Shining Pencil in White. I’ve only swatched the Eyeliner end because the colours are the same on both side for this one. Overall it was ok for the low end price, quite pigmented but a little hard to blend and quite easy to remove.

Details of Prorance Auto Shining Pencil from their website. The actually product amount's 3mm x 25mm x2(ends) in size and comes in 7 colours.

Sasa Haul

Yay my packet from Sasa.com arrived yesterday! =D I've been really good holding back from buying too many things till I finished my old stuff. But I ran out of makeup remover, I figured I might as well get a new one from Sasa cos it's going to be so much cheaper than getting another bottle from Clinique. So I took this chance to get Shiseido's Eye and Lip makeup remover. I hope it's good =o
Plus my sister and I bought some other stuff so we get free shipping. =P Half of it's hers but I'll try them out and let you all know how it was.

The pretty red tube's SANA's pore vacuumer, apparently it's meant to get rid of blackheads and whiteheads. So that sounds pretty amazing. I hope it lives up to its words. Those of you who's read my previous hauls would know I have two other mask from TheFaceShop in waiting to be used. I've been trying to finish my current Neutrogena scrub first which I found lying around unloved. LOL

Two hair treatment items from Shiseido's Ma Cherie haircare line which I thought was really cheap o.o, anyone who's used their hair products I'll be happy to find out more about it!!
A mascara guard and concealer. The concealer, I had a look at the ingredients on the packaging and it was... o.O" sounds like a lot of chemicals. Details on the concealer soon after I used it.
